ABOUT CBD
Cannabidiol, or CBD is one of over 85 active cannabinoids that can be extracted from two different varieties of the cannabis plant: hemp and marijuana. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract, which binds to physiological targets within our body's endocannabinoid system.

By nature, CBD that is derived from the flower and leaves of the hemp plant consists of less than 0.3% THC, the cannabinoid associated with marijuana's high. Because of its non-psychoactive healing properties, CBD has become a very popular option for those seeking a natural alternative to treat conditions such as chronic pain and anxiety.

Although the exact medical implications are continually being explored, CBD has shown promise as a therapeutic aide as an analgesic, anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, antipsychotic and has shown neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects as well.

As people start to understand how CBD can be used to alleviate their symptoms, they are often faced with a choice between using products made from CBD Isolate or Full Spectrum CBD.
Full spectrum provides more of the plant’s molecules in ratios and amounts that nature intended. While there is still more research to be done, there are indications that show cannabinoids and terpenes work together to influence each other. This synergistic effect is called the Entourage Effect. Full spectrum CBD oil products have the advantage of containing many different cannabinoids and terpenes and the potential for a wider set of benefits. CBD Isolate, on the other hand, is simply purified CBD.

We recommend trying a variety of products and assessing how you feel.
